Other foods that aren't quite so natural but are somewhat surprising causes include dried meats, canned soups and powdered soup in packet, sourdough breads, sauerkraut, and champagne.
Caffeine is also a potential cause of migraine headaches. However, caffeine has also been found to help alleviate migraines for some people. So it is both a cause and a remedy for migraines.
There are several different foods that can cause migraines. The exact foods that might cause a migraine for one person probably won't cause migraines for another person.
It is therefore often recommended that you keep a "headache diary". By keeping track of when a migraine strikes, you should be more able to determine what actually triggered the headache.
